PAYMENTThe course must be paid in full via contacting the New York Bar Review Pty Ltd offices..
REFUND POLICYThere is no refund policy on tuition fees once a candidate is registered via submitting their application form and tuition fees paid and materials are ordered, this is due to the fact that once materials are ordered they are customized to a candidates needs and paid for on the candidates behalf, hence New York Bar Review Pty Ltd incurring out of pocket expenses.
COURSE MATERIALSThe course fee includes all resource materials.
THE NEW YORK BAR REVIEW PTY. LTD. GUARANTEEIf you take the Bar Exam Review and you are unsuccessful on the Bar Examination, you may repeat the program at the reduced 'repeat price' or if the first time guarantee in effect at the time of repeating the program, then no fee is applicable for the second sitting.
COPYINGYou acknowledge that NEW YORK BAR REVIEW PTY. LTD., owns all rights, title and interest in and to all course books, lectures, handouts, and other course materials and related copyrights and that such books, lectures, handouts, and other course materials are protected by copyright laws. Course books and/or materials shall not be copied or reproduced by any means for any purpose.
ASSIGNMENTYou may not assign this contract. If you attempt to assign this contract or any of your rights hereunder without the express written consent of NEW YORK BAR REVIEW PTY. LTD., the assignee acquires no rights by reason of such assignment and the assignment in all respect is void.
DEFAULTIf you default on any part or all of your obligations arising from this contract you are liable for all reasonable costs, including, but not limited to, attorney's fees and court costs.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSCommon law graduates and practitioners admitted to practice in common law jurisdictions are generally eligible to sit for the bar examination and obtain admission in New York or California. Admission is controlled by the New York or California State board of examiners and the respective states supreme court. Most foreign lawyers and graduates seek admission in New York or California. The rules in this jurisdiction should be examined carefully to determine whether you satisfy the requirements. You should review these regularly as they are subject to change. New York Bar Review Pty. Ltd., has no control over admission rules.
VISAGenerally Citizens of various common law jurisdictions are given a visa waiver for up to three months. You should review visa requirements regularly as they may be subject to change. New York Bar Review Pty. Ltd., is not responsible for any visa issues. For more information: please contact our respective offices.
MODIFICATIONRepresentations, whether oral or written, made by any person, including a NEW YORK BAR REVIEW PTY. LTD., representative, that may modify any term of this agreement, will be of no effect unless such representation is in writing and issued by a NEW YORK BAR REVIEW PTY. LTD., Director.
STUDENT LOANSThe National Australia Bank, ANZ, Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia provide tertiary loans for full-time students. Applications may be made at any branch of these banks. NEW YORK BAR REVIEW PTY. LTD. SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME A limited number of scholarship positions will be available to students undertaking the New York or California Bar Review Quality Program. The scholarship will provide financial assistance up to a maximum of 50% of the course fees.
The aim of the scholarship scheme is to provide financial assistance to students who would otherwise be constrained from commencing the New York or California Bar Review Quality Program by inadequate financial resources.
Applications for scholarships should be made by Statutory Declaration with supporting documentation to the Enrollments Officer and submitted two (2) weeks prior to the course commencement date. Scholarships will be awarded on the recommendation and sole discretion of the Equity Hardship Committee.
APPLICATION TO SIT THE NEW YORK BAR EXAM MUST BE POSTMARKED TO THE BOARD OF EXAMINERS Your application to sit the New York or California State Bar Exam needs to be postmarked by the date imposed by the State Board of Examiners. Please visit their website to ensure that application meet the State Board of Examiner's requirements. New York Bar Review Pty. Ltd., has no control over late applications.
